The fiber optic installation solutions we offer can transmit at 10 Gb / s using only a VCSEL transceiver. In this way, we reduce the total cost of acquisition by up to 30% compared to traditional fibers that require a complex generation of specific optoelectronics, and multiple wavelengths to function.
Protected fiber cables
Distribution cables are wrapped around a standard 900μm element with excellent environmental performance and protection. The standard range of distribution cables is designed for use in building backbone applications. Cables can be installed in cable ducts by pulling them or they can also be laid in ceilings and hollow surfaces.
Breakout cables and patch cords
Breakout cables are manufactured from standard 2.8mm single fiber optic cable subunits and are designed for use on building area trunks and for crossover equipment room connections with suitable terminations. The cables are designed to be inserted through conduits or also to be placed in cable trays located in ceilings and hollow surfaces. The single fiber cable subunit consists of a 900μm shielded fiber surrounded by aramid fibers and an LSHF jacket. The Breakout cable takes these subunits and adds extra pieces of strength made with aramid, as well as an outer jacket of LSHF. In this way, a flexible, robust and metal-free breakout cable is obtained.
